Kim Kardashian gives ‘winter heat’ in tiny faux fur Skims bikini
Things are heating up for Kim Kardashian.
Yesterday, the Skims founder released a campaign for her shapewear brand’s latest collection, called “Winter Heat,” which drops on Dec. 18 in a very Raquel Welch-inspired outfit.
Leaving little to the imagination, the reality star posed in the line’s teeny-tiny faux fur triangle bikini bralette and thong set, which will be available to purchase in three colors for $82.
“Heat up your winter in the sexiest faux fur set, plus don’t miss our chic new Sweater Knit lounge,” Kardashian captioned a racy image donning the fuzzy lingerie.
“Oh my wow,” her younger sis Khloé commented. A second user said, “Kim honey, give me a second to breath 🥵”
“It’s a lil cool outside for this but I’ll take it !” wrote another follower while stylist Mimi Cuttrell wrote, “FAUX FUR IS HOT.”
Some weren’t as impressed, questioning, “Kim where the hell we wearing this to?” and “Who wanted this? lol.” One hilariously quipped, “Does this mean we can stop shaving?”
One Kardashian obsessive pointed out the familiarity of the design, however, saying, “It’s give vintage Kani Fur era!!🔥😍❤️”
Indeed, if this picture is giving you déjà vu it’s because Kardashian has indeed worn a similar look in the past.
In 2015, the mom of four posed in a similar-looking top and matching booty-baring thong designed by ex-husband Kanye West, captioning the Instagram “Furkini.”
She took the look up a few notches via bold furry boots — and perhaps gleaned some inspiration as Skims is also selling a similar footwear style ($128).
More compared her to the late Welch, whose animal hide two-piece look from the 1996 film “One Million Years B.C” is an iconic piece of costume history.
“It reminds me of Raquel Welch photoshoots,” one fan said while another replied, “that was def the look;).”
Kardashian has been busy with lots of Skims news in the past weeks.
In addition to recent collaborations with the likes of Dolce & Gabbana and The North Face, the fan-favorite brand opened its first New York City flagship store last week on 5th Avenue — with celebs including Cardi B, Paris Hilton, Ice Spice and more all showing support.
