Permafrost, from Norway. Formed in Molde 1982. They take their name from a song by Magazine, other influences are Joy Division & The Cure. Their singles ‘Femme Fatale’, 'Closed Eyes', ‘Restore Us’ & 'Wrong Heart' all went to the top of the Indie Disko Top 40 and the Deutsch Alternative Charts.
