Using editor data from mediawiki_history from 2022-04-01 to 2022-09-31 we have determined the following sysop/rollbacker uniques counts:

Android Editor Count:
371 Unique Editors

iOS Editor Count:
176 Unique Editors

The methodology for collecting this data was first collecting every editor who made an Android or iOS edit on the Top 20 most edited wikis by OS first - from 2022-04-01 to 2022-09-31.

The second step was to then match those users with ANY revisions made where the same user was in the sysops or rollbacker group (field is event_user_groups_historical), on any wiki. The tables that show active sysops/rollbackers only include the Top 20 wikis, there were many other wikis where editors had permissions not listed here.

Next step is for @SNowick_WMF and @Seddon to do a quality check on the query to account for conventions related to having the rollbacker designation on Non-EN wiki (Ex. German) and for @SNowick_WMF to consider proportionally who has higher rollbackers iOS vs Android.

Of the Android and iOS editors polled who later appeared in mediawiki_history with membership in sysop or rollbacker group status.

Note these numbers may change once we revise counts based on German Wikipedia group status queries since they do not use rollbacker group distinction.
