Introducing SAMIEL to the DR Family, with two brand new club heaters. SAMIEL is a visually impaired tempo pusher based in the UK. He injects a stream of influences including percussive centred folklore and jazz into modern underground dance music to create a unique and fresh immersion of sound. Already making a name for himself within the UK Funky scene, with re- leases on Roska Kicks and Snares, Samiel brings an exciting new approach on Bruk and all things Bass, with Pressure Flip and Wobble Board.

Pressure Flip takes centre stage, introducing soothing chords and muted Jazz trumpets on top of heavy drums that nod to Bruk and UK Funky at the same time, before some Dembow style vocal chops pave way for a heavy low slung sub bass. It’s cheeky, fun, but dutty in all the right places!

Wobble Board takes us deeper still, with a playful yet slightly unusual kick & snare pattern that draws focus on the double kick. Complimented by heavy percussive samples, rising chords and that all important Ragga vocal telling you “Fi Let Dem Know”
Wobble, as the title suggests, is exactly what the bass does on this one as Samiel plays with it throughout making it dance and swing with the heavy percussive drums. It's a sure shot Bruk out screw face tune this one, easy nuh!
