Sound In Silence is happy to announce the return of Marta Mist, presenting their new album Windows.

Marta Mist is a musical collective based around a core of Gavin Miller (also known as worriedaboutsatan) and Sophie Green (ex member of Her Name Is Calla), based in Bradford, UK. Since their formation in 2010, they have released three albums, three EPs, four singles and two compilations on labels such as Time Released Sound, Hibernate, Sound In Silence, Heat Death Records and This Is It Forever, or self-released.

Windows, Marta Mist’s fourth full-length album and second for Sound In Silence after the Eyes Like Pools album back in 2022, consists of six minimal post-rock compositions with a total duration of almost 34 minutes. Perfectly mixing layers of haunting violins, dark guitar melodies, ambient e-bow swells, jazzy beats, airy synth textures, hypnotizing drones, deep bass lines and electronic glitches, Marta Mist create another wonderful, atmospheric album, inspired by that noir, Lynch, jazz sort of vibe.
The real dark, intriguing energy of Windows will instantly sound familiar and comforting to all fans of Talk Talk, Bark Psychosis, Godspeed You! Black Emperor and of course worriedaboutsatan.
