Some great bands here and for a great cause. Hope there’s similar projects with the same great bands and for the same cause in the future. This is a truly great compilation album.
Favorite track: Black Lung.

Came here for the cause and stayed for superb new tracks from DDJ, Grand Cadaver, Besvarjelsen, and Firebreather. Stayed longer for a slew of new discoveries of bands I wasn’t previously familiar with. There is incredible diversity here from the pummeling to the surprisingly beautiful, and to my ears all are bangers. May there always be light and hope.
Favorite track: Poisoner.

I lived, breathed, ate, expelled, extolled, excreted and slept the darkest depths in the emptiness between my 80 billion neurons - where one jump across the synaptic gap felt more painful & true than the next - in 18 years of non-present presence. The riffs and I remain, because my story isn't over yet, and they keep making more riffs to soundtrack this short, precious life. No one's ever died from talking about something they didn't want to talk about. Thank you for this beautiful compilation.

This is the most important release this year. Not only it's content, but the message. Thank you Suicide Records, and thanks to everyone involved in this project. It gives me hope.

Every six hours, someone commits suicide in Sweden.
That means four people voluntarily
end their lives every day, and that’s not counting drug overdoses or accidents.
In response to this, Gothenburg-based record label Suicide Records is releasing the compilation album In the Loving Memory of You on September 10th.
The album features
16 bands with brand new songs, and all proceeds from this album will go to Suicide Zero, a Swedish non-profit organization that has been working towards a society without suicides
since 2013. In addition to the bands, several partners and sponsors have contributed to
funding the project, so that as much money as possible can go directly to Suicide Zero.
Behind the project is Suicide Records founder Roger Andersson, who himself has a history
of substance abuse and mental health issues.
