Dave Aftandilian A hazy feeling of being happily submerged in dream suffuses this album, the listener floating on gently rocking waves bearing them toward realms of half-forgotten memories. Whispered verses float through the air like echoing, oracular answers to questions we did not know we were asking. And just when we think we have grasped them, they drift out of reach. Absolutely magical.

fritz_gruber As with every Boström release, expectations were extremely high. I can well understand that he takes his time for the art that is surely most sacred to him - music. The first Teahouse album will always be one of my absolute favourites, but this one together with Skeldos is a worthy successor. The voice and influence of Skeldos is not intrusive, but an asset. Dark and mystical, melancholic and cryptic - a must have for every Pär Boström enthusiast.
Favorite track: Juniper Rain.

Night Moss unifies the melancholy of Teahouse Radio and Skeldos. The album was composed remotely during the pandemic and finished in person, when the lockdowns ended, and Pär Boström from Sweden and Vytenis Eitminavičius from Lithuania could meet for the first time.

Accordions, zither, tape loops, synthesizers and effect pedals combine with gentle singing to form lullabies from another place. A place of tenderly prepared nests. Shelters for hiding in quietness, singing oneself to sleep. For travelling over dreamy marshes, through fields of juniper. In the rain, in an endless stream.

2024 is starting slow for me: after some catching up, I mainly listened to ambient for the majority of this January. Star Lore is a great addition and discovery, once again being brought to my attention by Ernie Fleetenkieker. Even after having found a favourite track, this album ov enchanting, slightly bemused, wintery ambience is best enjoyed as whole. A great addition to your collection and formidable soundtrack for a secluded stroll through the snowfall. Enchanting from start to finish! David Fischer
