Tleilaxu This was my first Thangorodrim Album long ago,i thought its Black Metal but got ACE Dark Dungeon Music instead. Taur-nu-Fuin sets high standards,you don't need to be an expert on Middle Earth to enjoy it but its a nice bonus if you are. This style has its roots in Mortiis hands but its soooo much more versatile and way less repetive,people who dislike Mortiis can and will enjoy this. I'd pay to get my CD signed and meet the man behind the project,he is a true audio magician Favorite track: Twilit Fogs on Tarn Aeluin [remaster].

baboonsandmoons Arguably the finest dungeon synth album ever recorded, but I know I'm only repeating every other review here. Favorite track: In Hills of Shadow Bleak and Cold [remaster].

At this point, Fief II is a classic of the genre and the DS revival scene. It honestly doesn't get better than this, just other than. The orchestration is beautiful, the instrumentation is playful and appropriate, and the entire album captures a moment in time long forgotten or along another dimension.
