Abhishek Bachchan walked out of an episode of the comedy show Case Toh Banta Hai after comedian Paritosh Tripathi made a comment about his father, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
The show, hosted by Riteish Deshmukh and featuring Varun Sharma and Kusha Kapila, involves celebrities defending themselves against playful accusations. However, it was later revealed that Abhishek was just playing along and pranking the comedian.

The incident happened when comedian Paritosh Tripathi introduced himself as a troll who makes fun of celebrities. During his segment, Tripathi joked about Amitabh Bachchan's long arms. Abhishek Bachchan initially took offense, asking him to stop and confronting him for making a joke about his father.
Abhishek expressed that while he understands comedy, he felt it was wrong to involve his father in jokes. He emphasized that comedy should remain focused on him and not his father, stressing the importance of respect. When the director tried to calm him down, Abhishek insisted on speaking his mind, making it clear that he was not being unreasonable.
After walking out of the show, Abhishek later returned and revealed that it had all been a prank. Deshmukh and Tripathi had discussed the situation, with Tripathi clarifying that he never meant to upset Abhishek. When Abhishek came back, he hugged the comedian and playfully declared himself the boss of the trolling game.

Was Abhishek Bachchan right to walk out after the comedian's comment?

Abhishek was recently seen in I Want To Talk, a slice-of-life drama by Shoojit Sircar, which is currently in theaters. His upcoming project is Housefull 5, where he will star alongside Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Nargis Fakhri, Sonam Bajwa, and Fardeen Khan.
On the other hand, Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan appears to be deeply perturbed, as reflected in his recent cryptic social media posts. Early on Sunday, the Kaun Banega Crorepati host took to his blog and social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to share sharp words aimed at “idiots” and people with “limited brains.”
On X, the megastar posted, “T 5216 – बनाने वाले जो हर शब्द का अपना ही अर्थ निकलते हैं, अपने निजी जीवन के अनर्थ को छिपाते हैं (The creators who derive their own meaning from every word, hide the misfortunes of their personal lives).”
His blog elaborated further, “Idiots and those with limited brain – never a dearth of such in this World; they make and print their own imbecilic fakes each day to hide their own personal, brainless, half-witted deficiencies in such.”
