Vijay Sethupathi's son Surya impresses with stunts

Vijay met his wife, Jessie Sethupathi, while working in Dubai. Their relationship began online, and in 2003, he returned to India to marry her. Vijay and Jessie have two children—Surya, their eldest, and a younger daughter named Shreeja.
Though he had an early interest in cinema, it was his marriage and the encouragement from director Balu Mahendra that inspired him to pursue acting more seriously.

Surya made his debut in the film industry by portraying his father’s childhood character in Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, which starred Nayanthara and was directed by Vignesh Shivan. He also featured alongside Vijay in Sindhubaadh.
Surya is set to make his debut as a lead actor in Phoenix, directed by stunt master Anl Arasu. Originally scheduled for a November release this year, the film has now been postponed, and a new release date is yet to be confirmed.
Viduthalai Part 2, directed by Vetrimaaran, also features Soori in a lead role. The movie delves into the gripping story of a police constable caught in a moral dilemma while investigating a train derailment in 1987.
