Alice Kaushik, who recently got evicted from Bigg Boss 18 in an exclusive interview with the Times of India TV, explained her controversial "I want to kill Karan" comment. The actress shared that the statement was said out of extreme anger. She further shared that she made the remark because Karan's personal attacks had crossed a line.
Clarifying her remark, she said, "Did I kill Karan? Of course not. I was very angry because Karan had gone very personal during the kick task. Whatever Salman sir said about my personal life and Kanwar, he just lifted that thing and said it during the task because he doesn’t have his own point of view. Unko Kabhi khud ka pata nahi hota tha kya bolna hai aur kya nahi. He went on about my personal life. I will never stoop so low. Even though I knew 10 things about his personal life, will I stoop low and say all those things on national television, no I won’t. I was angry that he used things about my personal life during a task when he knew I was very emotional at that point. He saw me crying and in the next very episode he was using me against me. So that thing came out of anger. Of course, I am not going to kill him."
Alice Kaushik criticized Karan Veer Mehra, calling him shallow and fake. She stated that he avoids handling his own conflicts and often manipulates others into fighting his battles. "I just didn’t like the kind of person
Karan Veer Mehra is. He comes across as very shallow, and he’s very fake. He never fights his own battles; the only real fight he had was with Avinash. Most of the time, he makes others fight his battles for him. He would play it safe and sit on the fence. That's why I never liked him; I always felt he was a fake person and never felt the need to be friends with him," she said.
Referring to a specific situation, Alice Kaushik shared, "There was one point when the entire house's ration was with Avinash, and he was in jail. Karan Veer Mehra refused to go inside and talk to anyone, instead, he called me to massage his ego. I told him it wasn’t right. I went to speak with Karan to ensure everyone would get food. But Karan called me only to satisfy his own ego, and he admitted that."
