WordPress 6.6 may affect other add-ons/page-builders so ensure that your site does not auto-update to WP 6.6. Test on a Staging site - and have an Exported back-up - before updating. Don't rush to update and then throw your Cornetto upwards. #WordPress

At the moment I'm auditing 10+ Klaviyo accounts per week One thing I'm seeing is a decline in new customer acquisition New website traffic + Pop Up form submissions in most Klaviyo accounts have been on a steady decline throughout this year This decline usually dates back 3-4 months before they realise their is an issue and they reach out for an audit It's important to stay on top of your marketing that is geared towards new website visitors as opposed to retargeting The performance of this is a leading indicator of your sales in a few months time

⚙️ Helpful tech tools ⚙️ Next up in my series of helpful tech tools I’ve found over the years is IFTTT: If That Then That. IFTTT is a platform which lets you join apps, devices and services by creating automations between them. For example, if you post a new blog to your WordPress site, you can set up an automation for a tweet to go out at the same time. If you’re a big user of Zoom (as I am), you can ask IFTTT to send you a weekly digest of the meetings you’ve attended. Here’s how it works: 1️⃣ Choose your trigger – a new blog post, approaching spacecraft, a particular date or frequency etc. 2️⃣ Choose your action – what do you want to happen? 3️⃣ Name your automation/‘applet' – e.g. ‘When I post a new blog on the website, post a tweet’ Simple! A while ago I was having a conversation about the CPL to give lead gen partners Someone said to me about a specific source "They'll take less than that" I asked why would we give them less "The quality isn't that good so we can pay them less" - "If the quality isn't good why are they running the campaign? And, where's the evidence that the quality isn't that good?" There was no evidence - it was a hunch This is where a lot of the issues in lead gen exist - Budget gets spent where the CPL is lowest - The assumption of quality is often based on feelings - The lack of 'evidence based action' means its really easy to screw people Where you have evidence that particular sources aren't good quality - great Where you don't - you need feedback - What was the sales rate - What was the email engagement - What were the amount of successful outcomes from that source compared to the others? If you don't get this - everything is a guess It's why feedback is the only thing you can rely on to determine the quality of leads from specific sources If you don't feedback results you're just buying data #affiliatemarketing #leadgeneration
