Too Late For Tears, via Moonwink Records/Symphonic.

Merging American roots rock with 90’s alt and modern indie-pop, this sonic coming-of-age odyssey reflects Veronica’s powerful vulnerability as a songwriter and musician. "This is about coming to terms with things we all struggle with… disillusionment, self-discovery, the beauty and flaws you find in yourself and the world around you." says Veronica

With luscious guitar riffs, dreamy keys, earworm melodies, and anthem-evoking choruses Too Late For Tears hits with a tumult of elation and melancholy. Like your first joyride, Veronica presents the gravity-defying highs and the lows. But unlike most first cars, which inevitably break down stranding you on the roadside, Too Late For Tears promises if you do break down, Veronica will walk you home and help you heal your broken heart along the way.

With this album, Veronica shows a singular vision, confidence, and stunning artistic honesty. Veronica is described by Downbeat Magazine as, "Gifted with a voice that combines power with an elastic range, Veronica belts out a narrative with authority,” on Too Late For Tears it and her songwriting take center stage.

Veronica has released multiple singles over the past few months leading up to the release of Too Late For Tears. The album’s first single, "Disconnected," delved into the aftermath of an accidental overdose of a close friend. The second single, “Unless I Call,” is set to an infectious, upbeat melody, about one-sided relationships and the moment you are ready to move on. Last month’s “Against the World”, redefines the love song with a deeply evocative twist. This track explores a profound love and connection, where emotions transcend traditional boundaries of space and time.

"Broke In 2" is a release of anger, a cathartic anthem against bullying and the empowerment found in forgiveness. "Let Them Go" breaks the cycle of generational family dysfunction, a heartfelt piece dedicated to her mom. "Girl I Used to Know" is about losing your way home in a complex world and "Doesn't Make It Any Easier" delves into a fatalistic mood of having to make an impossible decision. Veronica exposes her soul, offering a collection of songs that speak to the complexities of life, love, and self-discovery.

Veronica has already been hailed as “One of the most promising torchbearers of American rock n’ roll” by American Songwriter. Performing since age 12, Veronica took the blues and roots scene by storm with an early album that was heaped with accolades and awards, hitting #2 on Billboard Blues Charts. With her years of intense performing, creating and growing up, Veronica has quickly evolved, finding a unique style as a songwriter and musician. Veronica’s sonic odyssey is part of the groundswell of female artists who are redefining the meaning of singer/songwriter in modern American rock.

Don't know why you called me last night I haven't heard from you in weeks It's a bad time to talk now Leave it alone It’s just history You tell me, you miss me Would I open the door? It's getting late I’m sorry, I won’t hear you This time It’s too late for tears Oh, it’s too late for tears You only come home to move away again Maybe you feel better when they cry? Chasing sunny skies that always turn grey I bet you think you mean it every time you say goodbye You push, you pull, you come back to start again Oh-whoa, you come, you go, it never ends It’s too late for tears Oh, it’s too late for tears Cause it’s too late for tears Oh, it’s too late for tears I’m sorry, I missed you Just couldn’t wait for you to find Yourself answers This time it’s Oh it’s too late for tears Yeah, whoa-whoa, whoa-whoa, whoa-whoa-whoa For tears Don't know why you called me last night 1,168 How many miles is it going to take? I bet you think you mean it Every time you speed away

Glass shattered on the floor From the window We painted together Don’t you remember? Well, every night I left it open Thought I heard your footsteps Out there Yeah, yeah The wind came in, blew it down The rain came in, washed it out Disconnected Ooh, yeah Ooh, yeah Ooh, yeah And I know it’s been a minute But I was holding on tight, so tight Try to move on, forget it Can’t forget what you left behind What you left behind Every night I left it open Thought I heard your footsteps Out there Yeah, yeah The wind came in and blew it down The rain came in, washed it out Disconnected Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah Secrets creeping down low Every corner of your room, overtaken Didn't look, but they found me Close my eyes, they surround me Something’s wrong, so wrong You're gone, you're gone, you're gone The wind came in and blew us down The rain came in, washed us out Disconnected Ooh, yeah Ooh, yeah Disconnected

Do you think about me all the time? Do you wonder about me? Bet I can read your mind, from a million miles away Do you dream about me? It could have been you and me, me and you It should have been you and me Against the world Oh-whoa Against the world Oh-whoa You can feel it, I know you can You’re in the water You’re in the trees I can feel you You're with me It could have been you and me, me and you It should have been you and me Against the world Oh-whoa Against the world Oh-whoa, yeah, yeah Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh It could have been you and me, me and you It should have been you and me Against the world Against the world Against the world Oh-whoa I’m calling out to you silently We don’t need words, I know you hear me On your shoulder, in your hand I wrap around you with the breeze Yeah, it could have been you and me Against the world Against the world

You said you never changed But you know that I know that you did Funny how I’d never hear from you unless I call Funny how I'd never see you again at all You said you got me What are you talking about? I'm done with you and me And everything we’ll never be I'm done I'm done Who are you? What ever happened? Who are you? A year ago, was that even you? I bet you don't really know Funny how I’d never hear from you unless I call Funny how I'd never see you again at all You said you got me What are you talking about? I'm done with you and me And everything we’ll never be I'm done I'm done Who are you? What ever happened? Who are you? Yeah, yeah Na na-na na na na-na na Na na-na na na Na na-na na na na-na na Yeah, yeah, yeah Oh I'm done I’m done I’m done I’m done Who are you? What ever happened? Who are you? It’s the past now We ripped away Ripped away It’s the past now Color fade to gray

Let Them Go 03:59
She’s been on her own ever since she was a sweet sixteen Didn’t have much, it was all thrown on the street How can the inside and the outside feel just as cold? A wooden nickel’s a worthless place to call home They tried to break her Tried to take her light from her soul They couldn’t break her, no It hurt but she let them go Let them go Struggling on her own Wondering where this all ends Oh, she wants to give, don’t have nothing left to spend But she fought, she found a reason to live Oh, it wasn’t her family’s love, but to her what really is They tried to break her Tried to take her light from her soul They couldn’t break her, no It hurt but she let them go Let them go Let them go Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah-yeah She let them go Let them go Yeah, yeah, yeah Let them go Whoa-whoa-whoa Let them go She crashed down, no soft landing Back of the moon, last one standing Yeah, yeah Let them go Can a broken heart have a happy ending?

Can’t you feel it? We're headed nowhere Foot on the floor Hand on the door Just close your eyes Just close your eyes If we burn up the road We won't see it coming Smoke ring halo We’re stuck on this ride Stuck on this ride Doesn’t make it any easier Doesn’t make it any easier Can’t you hear it? Pounding in the silence Something we both wanna say Grab my hand Lean back, we’ll fly away Doesn’t make it any easier Doesn’t make it any easier It doesn’t make it any easier Can’t you feel it? We're getting higher Wheels off the road To the sky Kiss me quick Before we come back down Come back down Doesn’t make it any easier It doesn’t make it any easier Oh, yeah We can jump Doesn't make it any We can crash Doesn't make it any We can ride Doesn't make it any Make it any easier Doesn’t make it any easier Ooh, ooh, ooh Ooh, ooh, ooh Ooh, ooh, ooh Doesn’t make it any easier Doesn’t make it any easier

Broke In 2 04:19
Funny how they stand by you now Sad pieces you push around Scared people you push around You pulled the rug and watched me fall Did it even hurt you at all? Is it a game or thrill of the hunt? You set them up Knock them down And you do it all again All again Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh Couldn't build it up So you burned it down Couldn't stand higher So you dragged us to the ground To the ground You pulled the rug and watched me fall Did it even hurt you at all? Not your fault you're broke in two You set me up Knocked me down Bet you'd do it all again Ooh, nothing left to say You'd be lying if you said you could change Ooh, nothing left to do Want you to know that I Forgive you Whoa, whoa, whoa Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah Forgive you Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa You pulled the rug and watched me fall Oh, did it even hurt you at all? Not your fault, you’re broke in two Want you to know that I Want you to know I forgive you You You

Skipping class Tag our names behind the store She’s just a girl I used to know Pinky swore we’d stay the same Things are different now She moved away Ooh, it looked so much brighter Must have been the sun and the fire Never gonna find our way back So far away from home Never gonna find my way back You were my home My home Floating under the moon I know you miss You miss it too Those shimmering headlights Time stood still Try to find our way But we never will Ooh, we felt so much lighter Head up in the clouds Looking higher Never gonna find my way back So far away from home We’re never gonna find our way back You were my home My home Way down those beat-up roads There’s a place we used to go And it looked so much brighter It must have been the sun It must have been the fire We’re never gonna find our way back So far away from home I’m never gonna find my way back You are my home You are my home Swore to myself I’d stay the same Things are different now I moved away I moved away Counting stars and kicking stones She’s just a girl I used to know
