Review: Blue Lagoon
Photos

Let’s start big picture. What’s the vibe here?
The Blue Lagoon gets a lot of attention online—travelers come from far and wide just to snap that Instagram pic. Social media aside, though, the lagoon is a truly breathtaking sight to behold. Situated on the southern end of Nusa Ceningan, it's also fairly hard to get to—your best bet is to hop on a scooter.
Fun! What's the sight like?
Feast your eyes on the Blue Lagoon's dramatic rocky cove, with bright blue waves crashing fiercely against limestone walls.
Got it. How easy is it to navigate?
Little to no signage on Nusa Ceningan means you might find yourself driving around for a while as you try to find your way. But that's part of the fun; the sights along the way—including seaweed farms—are all part of the experience.
We're into it. Anything else we should know before planning a visit?
You don't need to spend a ton of time here; once you've taken in the view you can be on your way. Be sure to not travel too late, as the roads can be tricky after dark.
