You know Denver for Red Rocks and those famous Rocky Mountain views—but lately, this city’s been all about food. With heavy hitters like Jennifer Jasinski and Alex Seidel in the gastronomy scene, you’ll be hard-pressed to pick your reservation. There’s modern Mediterranean, farm-to-table comfort food, and of course, that signature Colorado lamb—pack your stretchy pants and come hungry. But dining out isn't the only thing the city does well: After a particularly satisfying meal—and there will be many—duck into the Denver Art Museum, lounge in Washington Park, or sip your way through the city's many breweries (better yet, make a tour of it). Everything you want is within reach—5,280 feet up, that is. But we promise, it’s worth the climb.
