This Michelin-rated restaurant here in Dubai

serves their best food in the city for under $20.

Mm-mm.

Oh my goodness. I'm Chef Jason.

This is Kinoya, and this is one of my favorite restaurants

to eat in the city.

They serve great Japanese food,

and these are my three must-try dishes.

[upbeat music]

Thank you very much.

This is one of my favorite dishes here at Kinoya,

barbecued koji chicken wings.

It's cooked on the yakitori grill,

so you get this gorgeous caramelization.

Marinated in koji overnight, simply barbecued.

On top of that, you can see this togarashi salt,

which is nothing more than chili flakes,

sesame seed toasted, and umami salt.

And then for good measure, a little squeeze of lime.

Mm. Oh my goodness.

The taste of this, that lovely barbecue.

You can see that really nice crisp,

the salt, the chili flakes, the sesame.

It's such a simple dish, but it works so well.

The second dish is katsu sando,

one of my all time favorite sandwiches.

Japanese milk bread,

beautifully marinated chicken in panko breadcrumbs

with Kewpie mayonnaise, gorgeous red cabbage,

and all put together to make the perfect sandwich.

Mm-mm, oh. That's so good.

Thank you very much.

Do you know what goes really well with this?

This amazing drink called Punchy.

For my third dish,

we finish on the spicy miso ramem noodles,

and with all good ramen, they say never drink it, slurp it.

[upbeat music]

And slurping we are.

I love the depth of the broth.

The noodles are cooked of perfection.

The chicken, the eggs. The garnish compliments this.

I believe this is one of the greatest ramens

I've ever eaten.

So those are three of my favorite dishes.
