BBC Radio 1 listeners were left choking on their cornflakes on Wednesday morning as sex noises were blared out on the airwaves.
Greg James was joined by comedian Joe Lycett for his Breakfast show when they took a call from a listener named Lewis.
After a brief period of silence the dead air was then filled by the listener loudly playing the sounds of a sex tape, prompting an audibly irritated Greg to say: 'Oh, ok', as he ended the call.
Listeners were quick to comment on X, formerly Twitter, sharing: 'So this has just happened on Radio 1…….'; 'Oh my god shout out to that guy who just got Radio 1 with the sex noise prank'; 'Lmaoooo who just played that girl moaning on Radio 1??';
'Oh no someone just played the sex tape on Radio 1'; 'Lmao this just happened on Radio 1'; 'whats just happened on radio1'; 'I need to see an image of Greg James face when they got done with the porn noise live on radio 1';

It's not the first time BBC have fallen foul to the prank, with the same clip aired during an episode of BBC One's Match of the Day last month.
Moments after coverage for Liverpool's replay at Wolves began the embarrassing moaning noises began, leaving the pundits visibly confused and viewers incredulous, especially those watching with children.
Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer appeared to be tickled by the chorus of sex sounds, with Alan Shearer joking that it was all Danny Murphy's fault.
The BBC quickly cut away for a pre-match interview with Jurgen Klopp, but after returning to the studio the noises continued to disrupt the show for around 10 minutes.
Youtuber Daniel Jarvis, from Gravesend, Kent, later claimed responsibility for the porn noises.
It is not yet known how he managed to get into Molineux stadium and tape the mobile to the set. The BBC is investigating that major security breach.

A video on social media showed that the prank phone had the porn sound effects as a ring tone, and Jarvis, known as Jarvo69 and BMWJarvo on social media, began calling it in a live stream as the FA Cup coverage began.
Gary Lineker later told Newsnight that he found the prank funny and said he doesn't know why the BBC have apologised.
While the noises continued to play out Lineker remained composed and saw the funny side, as he joked: 'Would you stop making those noises, Danny,' directing his quip at Danny Murphy.
Moments after the game got underway, Gary then tweeted to confirm that he had finally discovered where the noise was coming from.
'Well, we found this taped to the back of the set,' Lineker wrote alongside a picture of a mobile phone. As sabotage goes it was quite amusing.'
The BBC apologised 'to any viewers offended' and revealed they were investigating the incident.
