Look out boys! Perrie Edwards says she's 'single and ready to mingle' and reveals she uses Instagram to land dates three months after split from Zayn Malik

Her ex-fiancé Zayn Malik was recently spotted on a date with former Hollyoaks actress Wallis Day last week and it appears that Perrie Edwards is moving on too. 

The Little Mix singer has revealed how she uses social media to find romance and has admitted she's 'single and ready to mingle'. 

The 22-year-old opened up to You magazine and admitted to using Instagram to find men.

While she ruled out the possibility of turning to Tinder she quipped: 'Instagram is good for dating.'

The pretty blonde also passed up the opportunity to set the record straight when it came to Zayn. Throughout their relationship Perrie was plagued by rumours he had cheated. 

When asked if she wanted to clarify anything she replied: 'No, not really. Everyone is going to talk, but nobody knows what went on behind closed doors and that’s the way it is.’

And after calling time on the romance in August she's conceded that it was a difficult period for her.

'It was a hard time,' she explained. 'But we’re having so much fun as a band and I’ve got my three girls. I’m so thankful I’ve got this lot.' 

On Thursday night the former One Direction singer was spotted out at Nobu with actress Wallis, who bears a striking resemblance to Perrie. 

Perrie and Zayn met in 2012 when his former band performed on the X Factor show, while Perrie was a contestant. 

Zayn proposed in August 2013 but their romance was not to last and the pair announced they had ended their relationship three months ago. 

On Sunday night Perrie and her Little Mix bandmates returned to The X Factor to perform their new single.
