🏀Go out and read about cyber hygiene, social engineering, and learn the ways people end up infected with malware. Then, pass that information to everyone who will listen. Cyber security has become a menace 80% because of unhealthy cyber practices in the organization rather than the skill of the hacker. A very good example is; 90% of the people using the internet DO NOT KNOW that the router can also be have a PASSWORD. The internet providers DO NOT EDUCATE the public at large. Organizations face issues of cyber secuirty because of a simple fact that there is no HIERARCHY OF ACCESS TO INFORMATION within the organization. The hardware nodes are not properly SECURED, routers are not programmed with password. The proper maintenance of passwords rotations for hardware routers do not happen. The hacking happens more because of NEGLIGENCE of the users.

Cybersecurity threats are everywhere, and managing risks is key. Start by identifying your vulnerabilities and know where your data is stored and who has access. Use strong passwords, and multi-factor authentication, and keep your software updated. Train your team to recognize phishing scams and suspicious activities. Regularly back up your data to avoid loss during attacks. Evaluate your third party vendors for security practices, as their risks are your risks too. Finally, have a response plan ready to act quickly if an attack happens. Stay proactive to stay secure!
