Stakeholders resistance is usual, specially when they are not associated to decision making. The 1st thing to do is to address directly the concerns clarifying the misunderstandings, the misconception and the miscommunication.. Then include the concerned stakeholders in decision-making, getting their inputs. Increase transparency in communicating clearly, explaining decision-making. Build stronger relationships with all the stakeholders, involving them proactively, fostering trust in developing open lines of communication.

El primero es muy fácil de solucionar, creando reuniones de hitos de revisión de los proyectos para declarar avances y toma de decisiones importantes. El segundo debe de manejarse con cautela, pues no se trata de estar informado o no, de ser tomado en cuenta o no, se trata de lastimar egos. A veces no es necesario que el stakeholder tome participación de todas las decisiones, pues se puede convertir en un stopper, mas que en un facilitador.

Adopt a collaborative tone. After setting the meeting tone, step back as a leader and let the ideas flow from the team. This fosters innovation and a sense of contribution among stakeholders. Decisions made through collaboration not only address resistance but also instill a sense of ownership and commitment among team members.

In my opinion, If stakeholders feel ignored, it means that there was a crucial error in the process, which is to clarify the initial and final objectives and how the parties will be involved in the process. Every process involves everyone, from the beginning to the top of the pyramid. Therefore, the decision must be made and communicated clearly to everyone involved and impacted. Without this clarity, it is impossible to achieve an expected success.
