I agree with the other gentlemen’s comments in this thread especially #Joe Perez. First and foremost identify the why, is the issue supply chain on materials, a labor shortage causing extra shifts, weather delay outside historical almanac norms, or do you need to value engineer? If you are going to cut focus on keeping the items that a person touches or are within natural eye path. Keep the exterior cladding on your buildings for 12-15 feet vs 2-3 stories but keep solid wood doors on the bedrooms. There are 1000’s of these calls. But they should all be made before you set your gmp schedule.
