At All Things Open Conference I gave this talk about networking, starting with the fundamentals of "ping" and working my way towards more complex (but still quite fundamental) network tools that are in every day use. It was a lot of fun to present, the room was full of people (!) and I got quite a bit of positive feedback afterwards. The challenge with any talk at any well-attended event is knowing your audience.
