🌟 Congratulations to Ravit Helled, ESSC panel member for Astronomy and Fundamental Physics, on being awarded the 2024 Farinella Prize! 🌟 Presented at the Europlanet Science Congress (EPSC) 2024, this prestigious prize recognises Prof Helled’s groundbreaking research into the internal structures of giant planets, advancing our understanding of planetary formation both in our Solar System and beyond. Her pioneering work on ‘fuzzy’ cores, now confirmed by data from the Juno and Cassini missions, has reshaped our understanding of gas giant formation.
