Remember a handful of weeks ago when I was in NYC to hang out with Nancy Gurd?! And then we suddenly both had purple hair?!?! Well - the goods have finally been delivered, folks. I wanted to do a case study with Nancy - but it had to be fun. So we did it as a pizza crawl through Brooklyn one Tuesday afternoon. The goal was to give Nancy a platform to talk about her thoughts on CX, but we had to rate the pizza too - so we came up with a list of spots to hit, the topics we'd cover at each stop, and our rating system for the slices. And off we went. Our first stop was at the iconic Joe's Pizza. We got a slice of cheese and a slice of pepperoni to keep things simple. Our rating system was equally simple: on a scale of 1-10, was each slice a Flip (10) or a Flop (1)? I hate to say it, but Joe's was a Flop for me. But the conversation with Nancy was a total FLIP. 10/10. I'll drop the link to the full episode of Flip Or Flop in the comments, but today I present you with this clip, and an apology. Veronica Beard, I'm sorry for dropping a bit of pizza sauce on my gorgeous Slouch bag. I bought it at your shop in SoHo back in August and I love it so much - and thankfully, she cleans up well.
