What a dream come true. Star studded week thanks to the invitation by The Earthshot Prize and Bloomberg Philanthropies to Full Harvest to come to London as an Earthshot Prize nominee. Super grateful to Prince William and Mike Bloomberg for their extraordinary climate leadership that is desperately needed. Disrupting industries for the better is extremely hard, but weeks like this remind me why we do what we do and that we’re not alone, so thank you 🙏🏻✨

Wrapped up London Climate Action Week with a final, super rewarding event! 🤩 The Earthshot Prize and Bloomberg Philanthropies hosted the Earthshot Prize Innovation Camp, where Andro and I from the Mastercard Community Pass team got to work with innovators in the #AgriTech space, as Agriculture Industry Experts 🌾 While the photos (minus the one of me and Andro) here are of the big names leading these organisations - like HRH Prince of Wales, Mike Bloomberg, Hannah Waddingham, Hannah Jones and 'Tokunboh Ishmael, CFA - this post is about the incredible entrepreneurs that struggle every day to realise a vision for a more sustainable #foodsystem. We all stand to benefit from their toil, and we owe them, at minimum, our gratitude. Here's more about a few of these Earthshot Portfolio innovators: 👉 Clementine Chambon is building solar irrigation systems for Indian farmers to save them money and reduce carbon emissions from legacy diesel-based pumps at Oorja Development Solutions Limited 👉 Esther Wanjiru, CEO FarmerLifeline is developing AI-enabled cameras to help farmers spot and mitigate crop diseases and pests early 👉 Samuel Rigu is creating distributed fertiliser production capabilities that allow farmers to get away from expensive, carbon-intensive, imported inputs at Safi Organics Ltd. 👉 Nidhi Pant is empowering women to expand their role in the agriculture value chain through solar powered dehydration tools at S4S Technologies 👉 Christine Moseley of Full Harvest is cutting emissions by cutting food waste at the source - farms - via a B2B food procurement platform Let's give them a round of applause (and also investment, grants, technical expertise, mentorship, introductions, etc) 👏 #lcaw #agriculture #food #climate #climatetech #entrepreneurship

Earlier this month, Full Harvest had the pleasure of participating in The Packer's West Coast Produce Expo at the beautiful JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort. We had an amazing time reconnecting with old friends and making new connections. A special highlight was sponsoring the cocktail hour, featuring a fantastic whiskey tasting and a fun photo booth experience! Check out some of the great moments we captured! #FullHarvest #WestCoastProduceExpo #Networking #Sustainability #ProduceIndustry

Congratulations to Unreasonable Fellow Christine Moseley, Founder and CEO of Full Harvest, for being named one of The Packer’s 2024 Women in Produce! Christine's work with Full Harvest addresses the massive food waste problem at the farm level. Every year, 25% of all edible produce in the U.S. is wasted due to cosmetic or surplus reasons, making food waste the #1 contributor to climate change globally. Full Harvest is tackling this with the industry's first business-to-business marketplace for imperfect and surplus produce. The Full Harvest marketplace connects food and beverage brands to farms online to buy discounted, imperfect produce. This approach lowers healthy food production costs, reduces waste, and provides farmers with an additional revenue stream—a win-win-win for farmers, food companies, and the planet. Congratulations to Christine and the entire Full Harvest team! https://lnkd.in/gwjzuYfj

Celebrating Milestones and More! We recently brought our entire team together in our SF office and invited our friends, family, and investors to celebrate our amazing recent achievements! There's so much to celebrate at Full Harvest! Over the past 18 months, we’ve nearly quadrupled our impact, selling over 150 million pounds of produce—most of which would have otherwise gone to waste. We’re also proud to mark 8 years in business and continue to launch more industry-first, cutting-edge technologies. We owe our success to our incredible team, our supportive friends and family, and our dedicated investors who have been with us every step of the way. Special shoutout to our visionary founder & CEO, Christine Moseley, whose passion for sustainability and innovation has been the driving force behind all that we do. During our celebration, we were also proud to showcase some of our rockstar female food waste champions and their amazing upcycled products. Check out Shuggie's Trash Pie + Natural Wine, Trashy Chips, and the first-ever upcycled hard seltzer, ‘Waste’. These products are not just tasty but also make a significant impact on reducing food waste. Kudos to these companies and their strong female founders! Here's to many more milestones and continuing our mission to create a more sustainable food system. #FullHarvest #Sustainability #FoodWaste #Innovation #TeamCelebration

It was so fun to celebrate the Full Harvest team last week for many milestones (Almost 4x’ing in the past 18 mths, selling 150M+ lbs of produce - most of which would have gone to waste, 8 years in business, launching more industry first-of-its-kind technology capabilities, etc. etc). I’m so grateful to have such an amazing team, friends, family, and investors that have supported us along the whole way. Literally people that have been at our parties going 8 years back! Was so proud to showcase 3 of my rockstar female food waste friends and their sustainable upcycled products as well. Check out Shuggie's Trash Pie + Natural Wine, Trashy Chips, and the first-ever, super delicious upcycled hard seltzer ‘Waste’. So good!! Kaitlin Mogentale Kayla Abe
