Gameto team members Christian Kramme, PhD and Kylie Jordan had the privilege of attending RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association’s annual Night of Hope Gala, a powerful evening celebrating resilience, raising awareness, and advocating for those impacted by infertility. We heard powerful stories shared by patients and advocates, which underscored the critical importance of RESOLVE’s mission. Gameto is proud to support RESOLVE’s important mission and remain committed to advancing innovative solutions in women’s health. It was a privilege to connect with fellow professionals and passionate individuals who share our vision of transforming reproductive medicine. Thank you, RESOLVE, for a wonderful event that reinforced why we’re dedicated to advancing innovative solutions for patients in their fertility journeys.

Redefining female reproductive health by developing cell therapies that improve lives.
About us
Gameto is a biotechnology company whose mission is to redefine female reproductive health by developing therapies that improve lives. Women’s health is a vastly underserved therapeutic area. Most conditions have few treatment options, and those available often cause frequent complications and offer limited clinical benefit. We aim to change that. Gameto is committed to using cutting-edge scientific advances to deliver better solutions to patients. Using cellular engineering, we have developed a platform to produce female reproductive cell lines. We use proprietary combinations of transcription factors to reprogram hiPSCs into engineered ovarian and endometrium cell lines that mimic the functions of endogenous cells, producing and responding to all hormones. Our team of cellular engineers is using this platform to advance a portfolio of cellular therapeutics for female reproductive diseases. Our first program, Fertilo, is a therapeutic for IVF and egg freezing, aiming to make the process shorter, safer and more effective. Additional applications of our platform include, an organoid of the female reproductive system, Deovo, and a cell-based therapeutic to ameliorate the health consequences of primary ovarian insufficiency and menopause, Ameno.

Recently, Dina Radenkovic (Turner) and Bruna Paulsen, PhD joined hosts of the Stem Cell Podcast, Daylon James and Arun Sharma to talk about what we are working on at Gameto. They discussed our cell engineering platform of the female reproductive system, developed in collaboration with professor George Church’s lab at Harvard Medical School, and how we are using it to develop a pipeline of treatment solutions in IVF, egg freezing, menopause, and beyond. They also discussed each scientist's roots, how they got their start in their respective medical and stem cell engineering fields, and how they ended up choosing to apply their expertise in the women’s health space. Thank you for having us on your podcast, Daylon and Arun, and for a great conversation! Gameto is excited to report that our paper, "Ovarian Support Cell In Vitro Maturation (OSC-IVM) Results in Healthy Murine Live Births with No Evidence of Reprotoxicology in a Multigenerational Study," has just been published in Reproductive BioMedicine Online. This study evaluated our product candidate Fertilo, ovarian support cells (OSCs) for use in in vitro maturation, demonstrating safe and healthy live births across two generations of mice with no adverse effects. This research marks an essential step in advancing solutions for fertility preservation and IVF. Key Findings: 👉 Fertilo supports safe embryo development, with healthy live births observed across two generations with no adverse effects 👉 Multigenerational assessments showed no toxicity, with normal development, behavior, and fertility 👉 Fertilo contributes to higher blastocyst formation rates compared with traditional IVM We are proud of our team of researchers who made this crucial work happen and are dedicated to advancing solutions in women’s health. Thank you to all who contributed, including our collaborators at Embryotools S.L.! What a week for team Gameto! We just wrapped up a productive week at the annual American Society for Reproductive Medicine - ASRM conference, where we presented new data on our in vitro maturation product candidate Fertilo during seven presentations. We gave three oral presentations, three posters, and one video publication presentation. We reported on: ✔️ First Fertilo pregnancies and presented a case study of the most advanced pregnancy, currently in the third trimester ✔️ Healthy animal live births in expanded animal reprotoxicology studies evaluating Fertilo as well as improved blastocyst quality in both animal and human models ✔️ Additional mechanism of action and symptom reduction data More information about the data presented can be found here: https://lnkd.in/dSbEb3q7 Gameto also had a booth, where we hosted talks with Natalie Lampert, Matthew “Tex” VerMilyea, PhD, HCLD/CC and Gus Haddad on various topics surrounding Fertilo and its use cases, and our CSO, Christian Kramme, PhD, was announced as Vice Chair of ASRM’s In Vitro Maturation Special Interest Group (IVM SIG). Meanwhile, at the HLTH conference in Las Vegas, First Lady Jill Biden announced the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) Sprint for Women’s Health awardees, where Gameto was named a Launchpad awardee and granted $10 million to accelerate our menopause program. We are proud of our team and look forward to continuing driving forward solutions for women at all stages of their lives.
