In Tide’s latest campaign, the brand traveled to NFL tailgates across the U.S. to tackle some of the toughest gameday stains and show, "No one stains like your city. No one cleans better than Tide." There are no fans like football fans. For its latest campaign, Tide partnered with former NFL defensive tackle Anthony “Spice” Adams to connect with football fans across the country. Tide and Spice traveled to tailgates in Buffalo, Kansas City and New Orleans to tackle the toughest gameday stains, like ketchup, barbecue sauce, aioli and gumbo. Think teeth whitening and food storage are unrelated? A determined P&G researcher made the unlikely connection when challenged to bring the idea of an at-home teeth-whitening product to life. Struggling for a breakthrough, he reached out to his mentor. In a serendipitous moment, the mentor shared a prototype of what would become Glad Press'n Seal, a food storage wrap innovation developed by P&G and marketed today by Glad. From this creative exchange, the two products merged to create Crest Whitestrips, which debuted in 2000. In Alexandria, Louisiana, where we produce many of our trusted laundry products like Tide and Gain, two of our employees, Brandon and Mike, share a passion for serving the community they grew up in.
