We are incredibly proud of our Roy Cloud School Principal, Melissa Bowdoin, M.Ed. Leadership, who had the honor of speaking at TEDx Sand Hill Road Women! Her inspiring talk, “Raising Voices: Empowering the Next Generation of Female Leaders,” is a powerful reminder of the importance of nurturing and uplifting young girls to become tomorrow’s leaders. Thank you for representing Roy Cloud and the entire #TeamRCSD with such passion and dedication! Go Thunderbolts! ⚡️ #EmpowerHer #Leadership #Proud #RoyCloudSchool #TEDx #TeamRCSD

Their strategies and hard work were featured in a national education publication from ASCD, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. Summer weather was hot but it was also a great opportunity for students to fire up their minds with interactive and engaging activities. Across Redwood City School District (RCSD), nearly 500 rising K-8 students and 37 teachers explored language arts and mathematics through experiential learning activities, as well having some fun and expressing themselves through art too! The Big Lift Inspiring Summers program held at RCSD boasted 60 students and four teachers. https://lnkd.in/gDnZzXA9
