PayPal and iOS: PayPal is only available for Premium accounts, Job Postings, and InMail credits. Selecting PayPal will redirect you to PayPal.com to log into your account. Purchases made through the LinkedIn iOS app can only be managed through your Apple account. Visit the Apple website for more details.
Note: You cannot use Paypal with your current payment information. Paypal can be added as a new payment method and once added, the payment option can be modified.
While LinkedIn accepts RuPay for payments, it's important to note that not every RuPay card issuer is compatible with the RBI's e-mandate requirements.
If you are an active Premium member, you can add, edit, or delete payment information from the Manage payment methods section of the (Manage Premium Account) Premium Subscriptions Setting page.
To add a new payment method:
- In the upper-right corner of the page, click Add a payment method.
- Add your payment method and billing country along with the postal code.
- Click Save.
Note: If you're a member from India and want to update your payment information for the current subscription, then you can follow these steps.
To update a payment method:
- Click on the
Edit icon. - Enter your payment information.
- Click Save.
Notes:
- When you have more than one payment method stored in your account, you can select the method you'd like to use to purchase a product.
- If you receive an error while updating your payment method, it means that the billing country of your new payment method does not match the billing country used for your first LinkedIn purchase. To resolve this issue, you can either use a payment method that has the billing country same as the one used for your initial purchase, or cancel your contract and resubscribe.
Note: You can’t delete a payment method that’s linked to an active, recurring purchase. You’ll need to switch the payment method to delete the card on file. If you’ve cancelled your plan, you’ll need to wait until the end of the billing cycle before you can delete that payment method.
To delete a payment method:
- Click the X next to the payment method you want to delete.
- Select Yes, please delete to confirm.
The first card you enter (excluding PayPal) becomes your default payment method for your LinkedIn purchases. You can change the default payment methods by updating the current card on file.
Setting or designating a new default payment when adding a card does not replace card(s) currently associated with a paid service. You have to switch the payment method to the new card for any active purchases if you intend it to replace the current payment method (except for members located in India) You can click Change next to your product name for which you want to reassign new payment details. After that, select the payment method that you would like to move your product to and then click Move to this card.
If you are an active Premium member, you can add, edit, or delete payment information from the Payment methods section of the LinkedIn Admin Center page.

Note: After adding a new payment method, you can apply it to an active subscription. A New payment method dialog box will appear asking you to confirm if you'd like to update the subscription's payment method. When a new card is added, members should see a dialog box asking them to associate it with their active purchase. If members have more than one active purchase, they will need to go to the Purchases page to link the new card to all the purchases.
To change your default payment method:
- Navigate to the LinkedIn Admin Center page.
- Click Purchases on the left pane.
- Under Active, click the subscription for which you want to change the payment method. You'll be able to view the payment methods associated with the active subscription.
- Click Change payment method in the subscription page and select the payment method that you'd like to switch to from the dropdown.
- Click Confirm changes.
