Two metrics we’re not ignoring from our Economic Report. As a data driven company, The Confident Clincian’s mission is to make research more accessible for practitioners in integrative medicine. With such a large community, we’re able to provide insights into the health of our practitioners business’s, and help them make decisions based on population data. Aside from a few “don’t worry you’ll make money” pamphlets from ND schools, there isn’t enough published data on what actually happens when people graduate. We’re 2 weeks way from closing the survey and there are two startling statistics to note. 📈Everyone feels they make a big difference in their patients health care. 📉Everyone has considered leaving the profession. We’re not happy about the disconnect between the passion for helping patients and the frustration felt by practitioners and we’re building the solutions for our members for 2025. From our member-only business training to our high level Vista coaching with Sean Robertson, we take care of our members so they can take care of their patients.

Why I’m in the Psychedelic Space As an Ayurvedic Clinician with a foundation in Health and Human Science from Colorado State University and advanced studies at the California College of Ayurveda, I’ve spent over a decade practicing what Western medicine might call Integrative Lifestyle Medicine. My work focuses on prevention and chronic disease management through herbs, diet, and lifestyle therapies. Over time, I’ve recognized a fundamental gap in how we integrate mental health into our understanding of physical health. While modern medicine excels at breaking things down into manageable parts, it often overlooks the complex interplay of the whole system—including mind, body, and spirit. In our fast-paced, modern world, so many of us have become disconnected from nature, from our own psyches, and from a greater sense of purpose. Ayurveda, one of the oldest holistic systems of medicine, views health from a perspective of interconnectedness and balance, and this philosophy has become my passion. My work now involves bridging this ancient wisdom with a modern Western perspective, addressing gaps where people may feel unsupported by today’s medical systems. In my practice, I honor the importance of the causal body—our deeper, often unseen layers that influence our health and life experiences. Psychedelics have long been used across cultures for self-reflection, healing, and transformation, allowing us to access subconscious insights that may otherwise remain hidden. They’ve served as rites of passage, windows into ourselves, and tools for growth. They open us to an experience of self that transcends the physical, reconnecting us with parts of ourselves and, often, with the world at large. In contrast, the modern approach to health is often one of control, quick fixes, and even fear of our own inner depths. Too often, we hand over our power to systems that don’t account for our individual journeys and experiences. It’s no wonder there’s a renewed curiosity about psychedelics as a path to self-understanding and healing. My goal is to offer these ancient practices in ways that heal, never exploit, and always support those on their personal journey. Watching people connect deeply with themselves—sometimes for the first time—is a privilege, and I’m honored to walk this path alongside them. Big Love
