UL294 seems to be the hot topic 🔥 with the design community recently.  Apparently not all electronic components within an access controlled opening need to have a UL294 listing??? 🤷‍♂️ This gets confusing when discussing with AHJ’s. If you’re finding that’s the case, you can reference 1010.1.9 – Door Operations.  Electric locks that prevent entry but allow free egress without special knowledge or effort are not subject to UL294. Unless the exit device is releasing a mag lock, or other egress restricting electronic lock, the exit device does not need to be UL294 listed.    Another reference is 1010.1.10.1 – Panic and fire exit hardware installation.  Exit devices shall be listed in accordance with UL305 for Panic Hardware and UL305 & UL10C for Fire Exit Hardware.   ✅ Of course, it’s advisable to adhere to what the AHJ requires, but the above references give you some talking points on why the electrified exit device you specified or installed is not required to have a UL294 listing. Well if you aren't 100% sure, then this dashboard is for you :) In the video below I'll show you how to build it: The ICP Review Dashboard helps identify and analyze your ICP by mapping data from closed-won deals. It provides insights into personas, industries, seniority levels, job titles, and locations associated with successful deals. It supports marketing and sales strategies by enabling data-driven decision-making about who to target and how. - Filter by service offerings or product lines. - Filter by creation date to analyze data from specific periods (e.g., last month, quarter). Key Data Points: - Location: Breakdown of deals by geographic region. - Department: Custom mapping of job titles to departments using workflows. - Seniority: Mapping job titles to seniority levels like Manager, Director, or C-suite using workflows. - Industry: Analyze the target industries and ICP's industry. - Job Title: Analyze job titles, though department and seniority can often provide sufficient insight. Customization: Add a description and Loom video explanation directly to the dashboard. Include links to workflows for creating the dashboard. Implementation Steps: Workflows: Use workflows to categorize job titles by department and seniority: Seniority mapping: Identify keywords in job titles (e.g., "Manager," "VP," "Chief") to assign seniority levels. Department mapping: Group job titles under departments (e.g., marketing, sales, operations). Reports: Create pie charts or other visualizations using filters like pipeline stage, closed-won deals, and mapped fields (e.g., department, seniority). Ensure only valid, mapped data is included in the reports. Benefits: Marketing and sales teams can analyze ICP data efficiently to refine targeting strategies. Flexible filtering enables focused insights for specific products or timeframes. The dashboard is dynamic and easily adaptable for evolving ICP characteristics.
