Recently I had the pleasure of speaking with Vinod Kashid (Global Head TCS Cloud Infrastructure Unit), Mangal Parekh (Business Development Enterprise Cloud) and Arvind Pandey (Transformation Leader) about the developments of Hybrid Cloud. The focus of the consultation was to look at developments in the hypervisiors segment. The market is currently in full swing and there are various virtualization alternatives, both license-based and Open Source. We discussed the scalability of on-prem to various forms of Cloud, where serverless computing will become increasingly important for organizations. This means that when developing your application landscape you must focus on functionalities and services. As a global player in the field of Private and Public services, TCS oversees an important playing field in the field of IT infrastructures. Developments and innovation in this domain are moving very quickly, with dependencies also determining the market. I was very happy with the insights given to me, so that I can develop further strategic steps for the CBR and for the public sector.
