Blogs filed for this week. On Tuesday I discuss: While cloud FinOps is all about “cloud units,” some weaknesses make me question these cloud value metrics. If we’ve learned anything from the constant evolution of cloud computing and its integration into enterprise operations, generic metrics rarely work to measure success. Don’t get me wrong; this is better than no metrics, which most enterprises are doing now, even if they won’t admit it. My concern is misalignments with cloud value using this way of measuring the value that could get many enterprises into trouble. Many of those running #FinOps in Global 2000 enterprises are more likely to agree with me. Thus, I felt compelled to write this. Make sure to catch it this week. #AI #AiCloud #GenerativeAI
