Is this the future of humanoids and robotics? 🔮🤔 How will you feel around these creations if this becomes a daily reality? ✔️Join our #BuildwithAI Hackathon 2024 -> https://lnkd.in/dsapprp4 #AI #Humanoid #Robotics #Future Credit: synthetic_ copy / IG

I don’t like this future unless humanoids are only taking over the more dangerous job roles/functions that humans shouldn’t have to put their lives at risk for. Everything else would just mean less jobs for lower and middle class- which is a terrible outcome with horrible implications. This AI race is, largely, a money grab for big corps to outdo the other big corps without thinking about the consequences for the larger good. Keep AI contained to solving world problems, healthcare, etc- without taking over the jobs of our citizens.

If this becomes a daily reality, it will be fascinating to see how we adapt and interact with these creations. It could transform the way we work and live, blending technology seamlessly into our daily lives.

I would like this feature to explore what kind of 'soul or energy' a humanoid, especially a sentient one, might possess. Additionally, I wonder if humanity will disappear or find a way to challenge its small ego—one that assumes humans are the only 'intelligent race' while also being the only one that destroys each other and the planet they live on.

These are machines without any soul or emotions. Humans, go and hang out with your Friends!

The comparison is flawed. That's not a human being. This is HOMELANDER! 😂😂

Will these humanoid-shaped robots truly be useful in the future, or would it be better to develop something less 'human,' less expensive, and more specialized? When I see these things, it feels like they’re designed more to create a 'WOW' effect or generate marketing buzz rather than demonstrate something concrete.

Absolutely. The next step of Human Evolution is the merge between AI, Robotics, Nanotech, Cybernetics and Humans. The Homos Evolutis (The Evo)

I never understood why would someone be allowed to make human-like robot. Sure it looks cool, but that is dangerous. You need to be able to say that this is robot just by looking at it, else soon we might see headlines "Doctor X married an Android Sara" or "Robot John succesfully infiltrated in army undercover", well you get the idea.
