Reducing complexity is not a viable path to improving developer experience. Devs are facing more complexity than ever: more to do, more responsiblity, more people to interact with, security, cloud, ops, etc etc. This leads to complexity, and complexity is a key driver for a poor developer experience. The reality is that you can't reduce complexity for developers, complexity will continue to increase.
