This morning I'm reflecting on work. Not work exactly, but my company. Reading articles about mandates to return to office, I appreciate that my company celebrates that people have lives outside of work by providing flexible work options. I'm grateful that I can having a fulfilling job with great benefits AND at the same time be home to ensure as my Mom ages I can be here for her. I get do to what I love every day. I participate in meetings and collaborate with people literally around the world, as well as my own training team that spans two continents, 5 countries and 7 time zones without having to leave my home office. I can ensure the pups are loved and taken care of during a workday. And, let's not forgot I don't have added expenses that folks who commute do. No extra gasoline, no extra wear and tear on car, no extra expenses for meals. And no commute time - I simply walk into my home office and turn on my laptop when my day starts. When my day is done, I turn it off, walk out of my office and I'm home ;) Someone asked me the other day if I get lonely working alone, and did I miss connecting with people. I smiled and said Nope...cause I don't work alone...I connect with people everyday. I have a leader who goes above and beyond to ensure our global team is engaged and not feeling isolated. I have a team of peers that fill my bucket everyday who I collaborate with that provide camaraderie, sanity checks and help me celebrate successes and drive improvements. I recognize that many don't have the opportunity I have...and I am grateful that work from home will be how I end my career when I choose to retire down the road. Thanks GoDaddy! #GoDaddyLife

🌟 Farewell, Zennify—Again! 🌟 Today marks my second (yes, second) last day at Zennify. It’s been an incredible 2.5ish year journey with more twists than a Salesforce implementation! In January 2023, Zennify and I had our first “parting of ways,” only to reunite later like one of those classic movie sequels where the gang gets back together for one more adventure. And what an adventure it’s been! During my time here, I discovered my true passion for recruiting and HR, navigating the ever-exciting Salesforce ecosystem. Zennify wasn’t just a workplace; it was the launchpad for my career in tech and people operations. I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside some of the most talented and supportive people in the industry, and for that, I’ll always be grateful. (Namely, Janet Larsen, Christina Bailey, CPA, Matt Henwood, Philip Paz, Sydney Sikorski, Eppie Sandoval, CSM, Kallen Maher, Savana Maxon, Josh Robertson, Chris Conant, Angie Heidman-Caldwell, SHRM-SCP, Kaylee DeBerry, SPHR, & so many more that it would take too long to name.
