Volunteers are also Humans; Value Them and Their Work. One of the worst things you can ever do is mistreating a #volunteer or disregarding the work they are doing. However small the work may seem, it is never insignificant. For no act of #volunteering is small. Organizations involving volunteers must first understand that volunteers are #humans with #feelings and deserve #dignity. Secondly, these organizations must see the #work that the volunteers do as #valuable and #impactful. Volunteers need to feel #heard, #seen, #appreciated and their work #valued. They need to find #fulfillment in their volunteering and not #frustrations. As part of the human resource getting their motivation not from #salary but from their #passion and desire for positive #social impact, any form of frustration hits directly at the core and the effects can be devastating.
