I've watched a VP of Sales corral a potential customer down a "selling process". It didn't go well for him! The customer and his staff smelled it and revolted against it. It isn't what you know as is noted in the video below. But, how did he become the VP of Sales then? Because management was ignorant of reaching customers just as much and he was by believing in themselves and not the value of the customer. You can get so focused on how to generate leads and increase revenue and overlook your customers and how to approach them. It is so prevalent in the world of sales to behave this way, that it shocks the room when you do it the right way and your results soar past everyone else or you hit your numbers and they can't figure out how you did it. Been there! It isn't a process or a value proposition, as much as it's you listening to the customer and engaging with them. 💯❤️ this advise! 👇
WHY THERE ARE SO FEW GREAT SALESPEOPLE... WE FOLLOW OUR INSTINCTS WHICH LEAD US TO FAILURE AND WE DO NOT KNOW WHY... #sales
