We had an incredible time hosting the Ruby User Group Hamburg meetup this September! 🚀 We shared the story behind building our online auction platform for classic cars—a journey full of unexpected twists, challenges, and a few “what were we thinking?” moments. Our decision to go all-in on full-stack Rails comes down to one thing: 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁, 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱. Why get tangled in endless JavaScript frameworks when Rails lets us move quickly and deliver real value? By leveraging tools like Stimulus and Turbo, we're creating a dynamic, user-friendly experience for our users. Less complexity, more time to solve real problems and launch features that make a difference. 🙌 Of course, we’re not perfect.
