In my early career, I achieved something truly remarkable at the company I worked for. How remarkable? It was an extremely significant accomplishment, and everyone benefited from it—both inside and outside the company. One day, I was chatting with an executive at the company, and he was surprised to find out I was behind this achievement. "Did you know everyone's taking credit for this, and your name hasn't come up?" he said. It was frustrating, like getting sucker-punched. It’s great to share credit, as sometimes multiple people work on something simultaneously, but it made me realize that some might take advantage of that. It's important to celebrate your successes out loud. In some places, you might need to over-communicate your accomplishments. Managers: remember to give your employees the credit they deserve. It will reflect even better on you than the achievement itself. At PepsiCo we celebrate success by giving ‘smiles awards’, but also take the time to recognize our team achievements on an ongoing basis. Tag someone you are really proud off and let them know.

Celebrating 2 Years of Growth and Impact at Pernod Ricard 🍾 Today marks 2 incredible years of #anniversary at Pernod Ricard a journey filled with #learning, #collaboration, #care and #achievement. Before joining Pernod Ricard, I have been focusing on #engagement with third parties, customers and consumers, but never with internal employees. What I can say so far about internal engagement is that it is at the same time the most difficult and rewarding one to lead. Until now I’ve had the privilege of contributing to enabling personalized peer-to-peer #sharing and #SelfUpskilling of the #Commercial population in the Group with my team. At Pernod Ricard, this #Change & #Mindset intitiative is called STAR VOICE. In a nutshell it is: 🌐 1 Global #Sales #Community with +650 relevant members spread in all of our 60+ entities including Sales, #GeneralManagement, #Transformation, #TradeMarketing, etc. 🎥 +10 Global Sales Community Calls so far, all focusing on key #business topics and gathering +150 participants in average each time. 📚 1 #BestPractice Library with +200 easy to replicate and proven best practice initiatives to #SaveTime and #Money shared from the markets and central functions visited +50K times. ✅ +80 best practices successfully replicated across the world, and probably many more that we need to track! 🚀 And... 1 truly global team dedicated to add #value to the #business! These accomplishments wouldn’t have been possible without the guidance of my great #leader and #mentor Miroslava Simova and our team members. Also a special thanks to my numerous colleagues, at the headquarters and in the markets, who help me to #grow everyday. I’m proud to reflect on these 2 years of growth, not just professionally but personally. Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue driving #value, tackling #challenges, and making an #impact at Pernod Ricard. Dear colleagues, thank you for making this journey so rewarding. It fills me with immense pride to share that I've been awarded as Manager of the Year at McDonald's Glenellen for 2023 🏆 However this award goes beyond just personal achievement. The dedication of my team, has truly been the bedrock of my achievements. Their support and tireless efforts everyday have helped me to overcome challenges and have transformed potential setbacks into stepping stones for growth. This award, therefore, is a reflection of the collective spirit and the extraordinary efforts of every single member of my store. Personally it's a shared victory, celebrating the incredible teamwork and resilience that has been created through my tenure which started in 2019. Personally the complexities of both work and academic commitments has certainly posed a substantial challenge to me. However it has been immensely beneficial for my growth on both a personal and professional level. This balancing act has not only demonstrated my ability to manage diverse commitments effectively but has also pushed me to excel in both areas. It stands as a powerful reminder of what perseverance and dedication can achieve. My time spent at McDonald's has filled me with both gratitude and happiness. This is due to my McDonalds journey offering me invaluable lessons in leadership, teamwork, and adaptability. And to top it off, I’m thrilled to have received not one, but TWO recognitions: 🏆 Dynamic Value Creator (Individual) 🏅 Dynamic Value Creators (Team) for leading the GBO Transition Project These recognitions come at a time when I truly feel acknowledged for the hard work and dedication the team and I have put in. Lessons Learned:      1) Put your hand up, even on Day 1, and say, "I can make a difference." Diageo encouraged me to do just that. 2) Respect your team, challenge each other, and collaborate for a win-win—because when the team wins, Diageo wins. 3) Embrace getting out of your comfort zone.
