In the latest testing builds (Canary and Dev channels), Microsoft has introduced 16 additional abilities to Copilot, significantly enhancing its capacity to manipulate various OS settings. The latest capabilities cover a broad spectrum, addressing both general functionality and accessibility features. Users can now instruct Copilot to inquire about available wireless networks, retrieve system or device information, check battery details, initiate storage cleanup, and even manage tasks like emptying the Recycle Bin or toggling the Battery Saver mode. What's particularly noteworthy is the inclusion of essential accessibility improvements. Copilot can now be directed to turn on Narrator, open Voice Access, activate the Magnifier, adjust text size, initiate Live Captions, enable high-contrast mode, and even start voice typing. These enhancements reflect a commendable step towards making Windows 11 more user-friendly, especially for individuals with diverse accessibility needs. While the recent additions double Copilot's existing capabilities, bringing the total to 28 ways to operate Windows 11 settings via AI, the article raises a valid point about the pace of progress. Microsoft's view about the common Windows user Since the beginning of January 2024 thousands of Windows 10 users are receiving an Install error - 0x80070643 when they try to apply a security update via the Windows update. And what is the official Microsoft solution: Copy/Paste from support.microsoft.com ------------- This update requires 250 MB of free space in the recovery partition to install successfully. If the recovery partition does not have sufficient free space, this update will fail. In this case, you will receive the following error message:  0x80070643 - ERROR_INSTALL_FAILURE  To avoid this error or recover from this failure, please follow the Instructions to manually resize your partition to install the WinRE update and then try installing this update. ------------- The instructions that they are referring to are about 20 steps that should be run by an elevated user, and requires more than the average user's Windows knowledge 😟 . They are convinced that a simple Windows user will actually feel very relaxed when he/she reads about disk partitions and running diskpart. We will never be bored with Microsoft that's for sure...
