Planning a migration for your Azure API Management resources from the stv1 compute platform to stv2? You might find it useful to be able to deploy a new resource on stv1 so you can do a dry run of your migration. That's no longer possible through the Azure portal but it turns out you can still deploy stv1 via ARM/Bicep (and probably other IAC providers too). Here's a repo I put together with a Bicep template that will deploy an APIM resource on stv1. Special thanks to Lyle Luppes for asking the question on how to deploy stv1, which gave us both the opportunity to learn that answer. https://lnkd.in/gh4iqW9E
GitHub - christopherhouse/Azure-Api-Management-stv1: This repo contains an example Bicep template that can be used to deploy an Azure API management resource that uses the stv1 compute platform.

Completed my 1st Project on Ansible today. I learnt to install apache2 on an EC2 instance using Master server on which ansible was installed. I started my project by creating 3 EC2 instances. Master, Slave1, Slave2. Public key of master server was saved on Slave1,2. This allowed me to do password less SSH. I updated the inventory file to store IP address of Slave1,2. Wrote playbook with the script to install Apache 2 and ran on Master server which executes this script on Slave1. The benefit of using Ansible a Configuration management tool is to execute these task on 100s of server remotely. This saves a lot of time. #aws #devops #ansible #cloud #project #learning #progress Intellipaat iHUB DivyaSampark @ IIT Roorkee

Check out my latest technical article about Azure Kubernetes Service in our blog.
We have a new technical blog post on how to simplify the process of issuing TLS certificates with LetsEncrypt on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) using a few interactive bash scripts. Instead of spending hours (if not days) trying to piece together various CLI commands from different online sources, with our scripts you'll go from zero to having an AKS cluster serving a sample static website over HTTPS online in 15 minutes or less. Let’s Encrypt is a free alternative to traditional certificate authorities which also takes care of the certificate renewal process for you. This tutorial goes through the steps of deploying and configuring a new AKS cluster and then use the cert-manager resource to automatically generate and renew TLS certificates using LetsEncrypt. https://lnkd.in/dUbAc4yu

Managing your Kubernetes infrastructure just got easier. With Terraform, you can deploy and manage AWS EKS clusters efficiently and consistently. SPR’s guide explores how to leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to simplify EKS cluster deployment, reduce manual errors, and streamline your cloud operations. #Terraform #EKS #AWS #CloudInfrastructure

TL;DR - We've deployed a distributed MongoDB Replicaset across three different Openshift clusters. Kubernetes has its own challenges when it comes to deploying stateful workloads across different clusters, but using #skupper we were able to do that quite easily. #skupper allows the creation of a simple-to-use overlay network between clusters that is based on smart routing. It can be used as a catalyst for a few use cases: - Disaster Recovery for stateful workloads when latency won't allow stretching a single cluster across availability zones - Hybrid communication between edge, core data-center and public cloud Kubernetes clusters - Private to public secure communication between on-prem and the cloud Enjoy :) #openshift #kubernetes #multicloud
