Data-Driven Insights into India's Crime LandscapeDive deep into India's crime data for 2023 with this interactive Power BI dashboard. Explore trends, patterns, and hotspots across the country. A Data Visualization Deep Dive Visualize the complex world of crime data with this powerful Power BI dashboard. Discover actionable insights and uncover hidden trends. Maps use in the dashboard: Cards: I added two cards two show the number of cases reported and other one report number of Cases are closed. Tree Map: Tree map here work as the providing case that happen in day or dark. Map: This map chart is use for showing the hotspot states where crime are reported. Funnel Chart: Funnel charts provide the report sum of crime in Crime domain . Slicers: Two rolldown slicer are used to select multiple box to choose city and crime discriptions. Area chart : Area chart give the insight of total crime uses weapons. Huge thanks to Divakar Kushwaha for their invaluable guidance on my recent Power BI project. Dropdowns for state selection and crime type filtering button. 2️⃣ Interactive Visualizations: Horizontal Bar Graph: Summarizes total crime counts for the selected state(s) and crime type(s). Pie Chart: Displays the proportional distribution of crime rates across states for quick comparisons. Line Chart: Tracks crime trends over time, divided into sections based on selected states, making it easier to compare multiple regions and crime categories side by side. 3️⃣ Overall Count Display: Provides the cumulative crime count for the selected filters at a glance. 🌟 Why This Dashboard? hi everyone, I'm excited to share one of my favourite real-world projects! that I recently completed - a dashboard on WOMEN'S CRIME IN INDIA(2001-2021) created using Tableau tool. This project was entirely my own initiative, and I chose it to raise awareness about the critical issue of women's safety. * This goal was to highlight which states experiences the highest rates crimes against women such as rape ,dowry and others in every year. * Throughout this project ,I worked on data collection ,data cleaning , Exploratory Data Analysis(EDA) and more to ensure that insights were accurate and impactful .The final dashboard offers a comprehensive visualization of the data, helping to bring attention to this important topic.
