Customer-Centric Product Strategist | SaaS, Fintech, Ads | High-Growth Tech Scale-Ups (3x) | Google | Cambridge PhD
Deep analyses -- like thematic analysis on the qual side or regressions on the quant side -- are often a luxury in UX research. Deadlines are often tight, and a timely 80/20 insight is often more impactful than a thorough but late 95/5 insight. These can often be achieved from things like running notes and basic percentages. My inner PhD cringes writing this, but the alternative to 80/20 insights is stakeholders NOT acting on any user insights at all. Product development is ultimately a series of bets, and those bets are better when even imperfect UX research is taken into account. #UXResearch #Bets #ProjectManagement #Efficiency

But how those methods are used, and what topics they explore, should depend on where the team is in their product lifecycle. We've collected our thoughts on how certain research methods could inform early discovery efforts, late-stage design validation, or both. Read the complete blog HERE https://buff.ly/4cCS1lk and don't hesitate to reach out if you'd like to chat about how research can help your org create better products.

Behavioral Sciences are one of the most interesting topics to me. If I had to recommend a book It'd be "Design for How People Think". You'll learn the six minds model framework which I recommend to use in your UX Research Team. Also, you can follow Robert Meza for more Behavioral Sciences content.
