Are you a great Co-Worker?
I have been in technology sales for 7 years with 5 different companies and after only 2 days in my new company, I have discovered that the great co-workers have a very specific set of qualities that can help a team be successful. While in every job there are good co-workers - the great co-workers follow a specific formula.
One of the things I have found with 2 days of observation is my co-workers understand how to use each other to be successful. They send emails, stand up and discuss solutions, they enjoy non-work activities together, and they welcome the new guy with unending information. The feeling of inclusion it remarkable and it allows for success to be spread throughout the entire team.
So as you look around your office ask yourself - Am I a great Co-Worker? How can I be a better Co-Worker right now?
