AIMS AND OBJECTIVE:

By the end of the lesson the students’ should be able to


1. Explain what is in input, process and output
2. Explain the input, output and process steps for different tasks.
3. Find the term manual processing
4. Discuss the differences between manual processing and computer
processing
METHODS OF INSTRUCTION
Greets student and enquire about their last week’s project (2 minutes)

Lesson Development (30 minutes)


1. Recall from the students about what is input, process and output from
previous class.
2. Refresh their memory by explaining again with few more examples.
3. Explain manual processing
4. Explain computer processing
5. Finally explain the differences between preparing a payroll manually and
preparing using a computer
LESSON CLOSURE:
Recap of the lesson (5 minutes)
Give assessment test (13 minutes)
Give some tasks to the students and ask them to explain what are three steps
involved?
Exercise :
1. Preparing a telephone bill
2. Making a pot of tea
3. Writing a letter applying for a job you have seen advertised in a
newspaper
Immediate feedback (10 minutes)
