SW-Series

SPAN CALIBRATION FOR SW-Series


1. Please make sure that all of your programming options are set properly before you span calibrate the scale. If you change any options later, you may have to redo this entire procedure. To set the programming options correctly, follow the steps of the Programming For SW-Series sheet. Make sure scale is OFF. Remove the platter assembly (metal and plastic platform.) On the right hand side you will find a hole and a screw at the bottom. This is the SEALING BOLT. Please remove the SEALING BOLT and then turn the scale upside-down to find the CALIBRATION BOLT and PLATE located on the right side of the bottom of the scale (if keyboard is facing you and you tilt the scale upwards by the front.) Remove the CALIBRATION BOLT and the silver PLATE. Under the PLATE you will see the calibration button: SW#1. Press and hold down SW#1 then press the ON/OFF key.

Remove the weight from the platter and then press the ZERO key. Test the accuracy of the scale. A) B) If scale is NOT 100% accurate, unplug scale and repeat steps 2 to 11. If scale IS 100% accurate, then you are done.
