Visual Basic and SQL Server
This course teaches programming with SQL Server 2000. You’ll learn the fundamentals of
how to write code to work with SQL Server 2000 and ActiveX Data Objects (ADO). This
course also focus on building client/server applications. You’ll learn how to build true
middle-tier applications that scale up to the Web.
Prerequisites: To get the most out of Developing Visual Basic Applications for SQL Server
2000, you should be familiar with the VB6 language and programming environment. Some
experience with relational databases will be helpful, but is not required. No prior experience
with SQL Server 2000 is assumed.
