This lesson is the first lesson in Parade 1, unit 2 on My Family. Or, this lesson is a review of .. covered in previous lessons ) This lesson is the third lesson for grade two in ICT class. It is about Keyboard, how to use a keyboard and know the function of the shift keys on it. Learning outcomes Use both hand to type. Getting them used to look at the screen while they are typing. Teaching goal (State clearly what it is you plan to teach in this lesson eg The overall aim of the lesson is to teach the simple present tense of be and have got) The overall aim of the lesson is to teach students the right way of typing in keyboard. The main goal of the lesson is to develop students knowledge on how to use keyboard in a good way, and know the shift keys of the keyboard. Learning objectives (State clearly exactly what you want the ss to be able to do by the end of the lesson students will be able to: Recognize student the location of Shift keys on Keyboard. Recognize student the functions of the shift keys in Keyboard. Assumptions about prior learning (Mention what the ss know from previous lessons or their experience eg The learners will have encountered or be familiar with or aware of...) The learners are familiar with how to use a keyboard to typing, but they didnt know the what the functions of the shift keys. Anticipated problems and possible solutions (Mention problems and solutions related to management, tasks or students e.g Some learners will find it difficult to differentiate initial consonants p and b, so I will clearly demonstrate/model the soft and hard sounds. Or The lesson follows PE so I will need to use a settling activity at the beginning of lesson) Some learners will find difficult to differentiate when they use a shift key with some letter and just the shift key. Also some of them they will cannot use a shift key with other letters in same time. So I will clearly demonstrate for them how they can use it in same time. Personal focus for this lesson (Based on your previous observed lesson, identify one or two aspects that need improving. Eg. be more animated, monitor children more closely, provide more challenging tasks etc) Using a body language and gestures, and controlling my tone voice. Care about a levels of students, to know how I arrive for them the information, and choose the good activities. Make a classroom more interactive to engage students. Determine a language and the suitable vocabulary to use it. Avoid misbehavior. Control Voice Target language (list language being taught eg.vocabulary, structures, functions) Shift key Home row Down row Up row Teacher language (list language used by you, the teacher, eg. questions, instructions and explanations) Lets play game find a missing letter to discover the topic. What is the functions of the keyboard? How many letter rows we have it in Keyboard? Select the location of Numrice keys. Select the location of the home row. What happen in the first case? What happen in the second case? What is the difference between the two cases? You have homework in page 13 worksheet 3. Main tasks or activities (list the tasks in sequence eg flashcard recognition, worksheet, drawing posters etc) Find missing letter letters Reviewing Explain and using Microsoft word Rapid typing Homework and rewarding Resources and teaching aids (list the aids eg. realia, poster, WB, flashcards etc) Presentation, will use it to present the lesson. And we using Realia, will need a computer , keyboard, disk, chair. Smart board, will use it when teacher present the presentation for students. Computer, for students to applying the lesson. Micrsoft word, students using to applying. Rapid typing, students will use it to learn using of shift key. Bill, to get students attention. Lesson Outline 60 minutes Start the class with a find missing letter to discover the topic. Whole class 10 min Build knowledge for students will make for them review with asking them some questions. Whole class 10 min Explain the lesson with different strategies and different thing we used to delivered the information in right way.
