Major Expectations

practical applications. My objective for our class as it relates to learning content is that we be
able to achieve all short term and long term learning goals that are aligned with state standards.
Classroom Rules

Bring all needed materials to class: Writing utensil, notebook, reading book, and all given

Cell Phones: I dont want to see cell phones when they are not appropriate. We will at times
use them for certain activities if it is a distraction, I will take them away. If they ring in class, they
can turn them off, if it happens more than once, I will take them away until the end of the day.

Procedures

Students must be in their desks, seated, and getting materials ready by the time their bell
Students will be required to have a folder and a notebook specifically for this class and they
must be out at the beginning of class each day, failure to be prepared will result in lost points for the
day.

Students must be silent while teacher is talking, and on task when asked to collaborate with
other students.
4.
If the teacher is talking students are not permitted to leave their seat, and during classwork
or open discussion, students must ask to leave their seat for any reason.

If a student has a question or would like to speak at any time, they must raise their hand
Students must complete all classwork, homework, and projects in the time allotted. If work
is not turned in on time they will be receive an incomplete and have one week after the assigned
date to turn it in for partial credit.

If work is turned in incomplete students will not be allowed to redo that assignment or
In the event of an absence, students must check their absent file for whatever work they
missed. They will then have the same amount of days that they were absent to turn it in. (example:
If absent Monday and Tuesday and comes back on Wednesday, they will have two complete school
days to turn that in. The work will be due on Friday.
